Some anonymous tipster made quite a bit of money telling the British tabloids that Elin Nordegren was spending a ski vacation in Chamonix, France this past weekend. Photos were snapped and reports and news stories aboundedat People.com, at Radar.com, and many other sites all reporting Elin schussing was on the slopes and hanging out next to some guy who looks like her brother-in-law.
They were right in one point. It actually was Elin's brother-in-law, but the woman in the photos wasn't Elin! It was in fact her twin sister, Josefing. Just like the snafu that People Magazine report last week that Tiger Woods was on his yacht heading toward the Bahamas, a lot of people messed up badly on their reporting.
The woman in the ski photos is wearing a large wedding ring. Reportedly, Elin got rid of hers two weeks ago. TMZ however did get it right, pointing out, the ring in the photos looks nothing like Elin's wedding ring. Now SportsbyBrooks reports that Elin wasn't even on the trip. The media outlets all know that Elin has an identical twin. The identical twin mixup again and again. It's been joked how much fun the media would have if only Tiger had a twin.
